Two mezzanine floors

Vindon are the UK’s leading provider of controlled environmental testing chambers and off site storage of medical and commercial samples, and laboratory research material.

 

When Vindon relocated their operation to a newly built facility in Rochdale, Coral Mezzanine, designed, manufactured and installed two mezzanine floors.

 

 

Two Tier Mezzanine ConstructionThe main structure was a 2,570m2 (28,000ft2) two tier mezzanine floor, with a secondary 200m2 (2,100ft2) mezzanine floor, giving a combined increase of floor space of 2,770m2 (30,100 ft2) .

 

Coral Mezzanine worked in close partnership with the client, the building contractor Wilson Bowden and the architect responsible for the building design. As such it allowed the mezzanine floor design to be incorporated into the design and construction of the whole building.

 

 

Project management

Office Space ConstructedCoral Mezzanine worked closely with Wilson Bowden during the construction of the building, to ensure that the mezzanine floor installation could be commenced as soon as the building was signed over to Vindon Scientific.

 

During the installation of the mezzanine floor, Coral Mezzanine worked closely with the client, managing the project in detail to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget.

 

Coral Mezzanine also acted as principle contractor throughout the build ensuring the strictest adherence to CDM regulations.
